A Quick Update

2026-04-30

It almost touched 80° in Seattle today and I gotta say, I’m so ready for it. Hope all is well where you are.

Just a quick update today to say hi! and to give you a heads up for what’s coming.

First off, I’m going to send a big album update to everyone next week. We’re about to crest an important summit in our journey and I want to celebrate it and share it with you. Normally, these only go to the folks who have supported the album by donating, but this one...well, this one is going to everyone!

Secondly, there’s going to be an update to the fundraiser. You might ask yourself was there a fundraiser? and I may tell you yes, yes there is. It’s been quietly sitting there since I launched it last summer. I tell people about it when I play shows, and it has played a very meaningful role in the summit we’re about to crest. As we do that, the strategy is going to change just a bit, and that means doing one final push. You can give now if you want, or you can wait to hear the full update. I’ll just say this, this summer is going to be a lot of fun and there will be ample opportunities to experience the album before it releases next [redacted until later].

Lastly, for those of you in the Seattle area, I’m opening for Fretland next Saturday at Millers in Carnation. I’m really excited to play with her, she’s amazing. But I’m even more excited to share that Ryan Carbary will be playing with me at this show. Ryan is a dear friend, was my collaborator and producer on Halflight, and some of you are already huge fans of his old band Ivan & Alyosha. Oddly enough, this is the first time the two of us are playing together live which feels really exciting. I hope you can join us.

That’s it!

Talk soon...
